Required GPA/Eligibility
To apply for the academic year 2024-25 at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, the candidate must have passed the HSC or equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024 and the SSC or equivalent examination in 2021 or 2022. The candidate must also meet the prescribed qualifications for the unit to which they are applying. Unit-based eligibility information is given below.

SUST Admission Form
Candidates can only apply online. The SUST online admission form can be filled through the admission.sust.edu.bd website. Fill the admission form with all the required information and pay the prescribed application fee. Follow the instructions below to fill out the application form:
- Visit admission.sust.edu.bd.
- Sign up using SSC and HSC information (Board, Passing Year, Roll Number, Date of Birth, and Mobile Number).
- Receive an OTP on your mobile number to complete the sign-up process.
- Obtain a User ID and Password via SMS.
- Log in with the User ID and Password to access your profile.
- Apply for the desired unit from the dashboard, provide quota information (if applicable), and submit.
- Pay the application fee to receive the admission roll via SMS.
Admission Fee Payment
To fill the admission form for any unit of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology and to participate in the admission test, the candidate must pay the prescribed application fee of Tk. 850 per unit. Application fees can be paid through Dutch-Bangla Bank’s Rocket Mobile Banking Service. Failure to pay the application fee will result in the cancellation of the candidate’s application. The application fee must be paid within the stipulated timeframe (January 5 to January 25, 2025). Follow the instructions below to pay the application fee:
- Dial *322# and select the “Payment” option.
- Select “Bill Pay” and enter the Biller ID: 292.
- Enter the Application ID as the Bill Number (provided on the website).
- Enter the amount (Tk. 850).
- Provide your Rocket PIN to confirm the payment.
Admission Test Marks Distribution
Candidates admitted to Shahjalal University of Science and Technology must participate in the admission test in person. A separate admission test will be taken for each unit. The SUST admission test will be conducted using the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) method. The test duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes, except for the Architecture (A2) sub-unit, which includes an additional 60-minute drawing and architecture-related test. Detailed mark distribution for A and B units is as follows:

Candidates must download the admit card to participate in the admission test. The SUST admit card can be downloaded from the admission.sust.edu.bd website. No candidate will be allowed to participate in the admission test without the admit card. - Log in using your User ID and Password.
- Navigate to the admit card section on the dashboard.

Seat Plan
Shahjalal University of Science and Technology will publish a different seat plan for the admission test of each unit. Separate seating arrangements will be published for A and B units. The SUST seat plan can be accessed from the admission website admission.sust.edu.bd and the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology official website www.sust.edu. SUST Admission Result 2025
At the end of the admission test, the results will be published within the stipulated time. The Shahjalal University of Science and Technology SUST Admission Result 2025 will be published on March 9, 2025, and can be accessed from the admission website admission.sust.edu.bd.
