Comilla University has announced the unit-based admission test schedule for the 2024-2025 academic year. The COU admission tests will be conducted in MCQ format, lasting 60 minutes each. Below is the schedule:

Required GPA / Eligibility

To apply for the 2024-2025 academic year, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

General Requirements:

Passed HSC or equivalent exams in 2023 or 2024.
Passed SSC or equivalent exams in 2020, 2021, or 2022.

Unit-Specific Requirements:

A Unit (Science and Engineering):

Minimum GPA: 3.50 in both SSC and HSC (including 4th subject), with a combined GPA of 8.00.
For Mathematics, CSE, and ICT: Minimum GPA of 3.00 in Mathematics at HSC level.

B Unit (Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Law):

Humanities Group: Total GPA of 6.00 in SSC and HSC.
Science Group: Total GPA of 7.00 in SSC and HSC.
Business Studies Group: Total GPA of 6.50 in SSC and HSC.

C Unit (Business Studies):

Science Group: Total GPA of 7.00 (minimum GPA 3.50 in each).

GCE Candidates:

Upload a recent passport-sized photograph (300 x 300 pixels, max 60 KB).

Admission Fee Payment

The application fee of Tk. 1,000 per unit is non-refundable and must be paid within the application period (February 2 – February 22, 2025). Payment can be made through:

Admission Test Marks Distribution

The COU admission test is MCQ-based, with 100 marks per unit. The test duration is 60 minutes, and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. The final merit score (out of 150) is calculated as follows:

Admission Test: 100 marks (100% of test score).
SSC/Equivalent GPA: 20% of merit score (GPA × 4).
HSC/Equivalent GPA: 30% of merit score (GPA × 6).

A minimum score of 40 out of 100 is required to pass the MCQ test. Unit-specific question patterns are detailed in the prospectus.

Admit Card Download

Candidates must download their admit card to participate in the admission test. Admit cards are available from March 15, 2025, to April 10, 2025, on cou.admission-aid.com. Follow these steps:

Download the admit card (PDF format).
Print it on A4-size offset paper.
