Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology Admission Circular 2024-2025 has been published. The RUET Admission Circular 2024-25 is published on the ruet.ac.bd website. This is a public technical university in Bangladesh, located in Rajshahi. Its official website is ruet.ac.bd.

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online. Admission website is admission.ruet.ac.bd. All the activities including filling the admission form, downloading the Admit card, seat plan and publishing the admission test result will be done through this website.

At the end of the online application, the applicant has to pay the prescribed application fee. Application fees can be paid through mobile banking (bKash, Rocket, Nagad) or online payment gateways. Application fee is Tk. 1200 for each unit.

RUET Admission Test Date

Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology has announced the date of unit based admission test. The RUET Admission Test date and time for Ka and Kha units are given below.

Required GPA/ Eligibility:

In order to apply in the academic year 2024-25 in Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology, the candidate has to pass HSC and equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024. The candidate must also have the prescribed qualifications for the unit to which he/she is interested to apply. Unit based eligibility information is given below.

Ka	Minimum GPA 4.00 in SSC (2021/2022), GPA 4.00 in HSC (2023/2024) in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English, with a total of 18.00 points.
Kha	Same as Ka unit, plus eligibility for Architecture department (requires additional drawing test).

RUET Admission Form

Candidates can only apply online. RUET Online admission form can be filled through admission.ruet.ac.bd website. Fill the admission form with all the required information and pay the prescribed application fee. Follow the instructions below to fill out the application form:

Click on the “Apply Now” button.
Fill in the required academic and personal information.
Upload a recent passport-sized photograph.
Submit the form and note the application ID.
Pay the application fee using the provided payment options.

Admission fee Payment

To fill the admission form in any unit of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology and to participate in the admission test, the candidate has to pay the prescribed application fee. Application fees can be paid through mobile banking (bKash, Rocket, Nagad) or online payment gateways. Failure to pay the application fee will result in cancellation of the candidate’s application. The application fee must be paid within the stipulated time frame / during the application. Follow the instructions below to pay the application fee:

Log in to the admission portal using your application ID.
Select the payment option (bKash, Rocket, Nagad, or online banking).
Follow the instructions to complete the payment.
Save the transaction ID for reference.

Admission Test Marks Distribution

Candidates admitted to Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology must participate in the admission test in person. Separate admission test will be taken for each unit. RUET Admission test will be taken in written and MCQ method. Ka Unit: 350 marks (MCQ: 200 marks, Written: 150 marks)
- Mathematics: 100 marks
- Physics: 100 marks
- Chemistry: 100 marks
- English: 50 marks
Kha Unit: 450 marks (MCQ: 200 marks, Written: 150 marks, Drawing: 100 marks)
- Same as Ka Unit, plus Drawing test for Architecture department.

Admit Card Download

Candidates must download the admit card to participate in the admission test. The RUET Admit Card can be downloaded from the admission.ruet.ac.bd website. No candidate will be allowed to participate in the admission test without the Admit card. Seat Plan

Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology will publish different seat plan for the admission test of each unit. Separate seating arrangement will be published for Ka and Kha Units. RUET Seat Arrangement can be known from Admission Website admission.ruet.ac.bd and Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology Official Website ruet.ac.bd. Seat Plan can also be known through mobile phone by sending an SMS to the designated number. Detailed information regarding unit based seat plan is given below:
